A weekly circle for grievers ready to leave the paved road. Most of what we are handed about grief arrives as a map: five stages, a marked route, a finish line where you are meant to arrive. Grief rarely follows it. This is a group for going off-road, for exploring the actual terrain of your grief rather than the route someone else drew for you.
Together we try on new perspectives, ones that may run against what you have been told. That grief is a passage that changes you, not a sickness to be cured. That the bond does not end. It transforms. That the way through is made by walking it, which means it can be made by you. We carry a lantern, not a map, and we go looking.
Some weeks the ground is rough. Some weeks a horizon opens that you could never have seen from the road. Either way, you are not exploring alone. We move into the unfamiliar together, and we witness what each of us finds there.
Grief is the living response to absence and change. There is no direct pathway through it. So we stop searching for the road, and we start exploring the country. Bring your curiosity. Bring your questions. The horizon is wide, and it is yours.
